About Us

Marcy Stowell
My promise to my patients is to work with hearing loss in a compassionate and understanding manner. Hearing loss is a serious business, but it can also be fun.
I received my B.S. in Speech Pathology at Appalachian State University in Boone, N. C. and my M.A. in Audiology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. I have been a licensed Audiologist for almost 40 years here in Greenville, SC.
I always seek the latest in hearing aid technology. I can help minimize the impact of transitioning into hearing devices by using the most advanced equipment available. Through personalized fittings and ongoing patient-care, many patients can forget they are even wearing a hearing aid.
I am board certified with the American Speech/Language Hearing Association and am a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists, and the SC Academy of Audiology.
Marcy’s Philosophy
Hearing loss is a challenge. Everyone is unique, and each listening situation is unique. Finding the right combination of different listening strategies is what I do. I take your hearing loss, combined with your trouble area and to craft a strategy with solutions tailored for you.
Trying to understand in a boardroom is completely different than trying to understand in a car. Family dinner time is different than trying to understand a TV program. Each daily listening arena must be addressed. So if you are contemplating hearing aids, take a moment to come up with a list of all the different arenas in your day. I will use all the tools available to match your listening needs.
